• Watermelon production is possible all year round in India due to the tropical climate. But watermelon is sensitive to cold weather. Watermelons are grown after the winter in locations where the winter is harsh. It needs sandy loam soil that drains well. 
• Dark and sandy soils suit it. But it must be organic and not contain water. 
• Water must easily drain from the soil or the vines may become infected.

How to Use:

• Watermelon seeds are mixed with dry fruits to make a healthy snack.
• The powdered form of sunflower seeds can be mixed with cookies and curries.
