• Margaret’s Hope Tea Garden manufactures a very small quantity of Darjeeling Muscatel teas every year during Summer.
• This 2024 muscatel from Margaret’s Hope evokes the fruity sweetness of the muscat grape.
• This is a classically made well rolled Darjeeling tea. It has a scent of a waxed wood note with floral and fruity peaks. Predominantly floral, fruity and woody- spicy.
• The liquor appearance is coppery and shiny. A slight astringency gives a good presence in the mouth.
• This is a harmonious tea with respect to the balance between flavour, texture and the scents, a character of a true Muscatel tea.
