- Hey! It's me, Coriander. Premium quality, light brown and with a high oil content, CRISTA Cassia Tubes are imported from Vietnam.
- They are then transported to the factory where the Cassia is hand cleaned, graded, and sorted.
- The spice is often confused with Ceylon Cinnamon which is the sweeter variety.
- Cassia is commonly referred to as 'Dalchini' in India. In India, Cassia is a more economically priced alternative to Ceylon Cinnamon (by a factor of 3) and is characterized by a much spicier note when compared with Ceylon Cinnamon.
- It is known to be an Indian kitchen staple and is very popular in Indian cooking.
